Medina Creative Housing is pleased to announce the purchase of a six acre parcel on Grande Blvd. which will be home to Medina Creative Living III. Construction is slated to begin in June 2010 and will consist of 8 units for the disabled and a Community Room. Medina Creative Housing has applied to HUD for 8 additional physically disabled units and 18 senior units in this funding cycle. Grant awards will be announced in summer 2010.

On March 5, 2010, Medina Creative Housing is “Raising the Roof” and we invite you to support our annual fundraising event. The “Raising the Roof” Dinner & Theater Charity Benefit allows you to have a fun night enjoying gourmet food at one of 6 area restaurants (Kasai Japanese Restaurant, Madd Chef, Main Street Café, Riverstone Tavern, Thyme, Rustic Hills Country Club), a musical “The All Night Strut” performed at the Middle Stage Theater at Medina High School and desserts/coffee and Live/Silent Auctions.

On January 28, 2010, Medina Creative Living, its residents and families were featured in a Department of Housing and Urban Development Documentary commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the HUD 202/811 Programs for senior and the disabled. The Documentary was viewed many guests including Board Members, Mayor Dennis Hanwell, Commissioner Steve Hambley, residents and families and Pam Ashby, Director of the Cleveland HUD Office Multifamily Housing.
