LEAVE A LEGACY

What is your legacy?  Several years ago, Mr. Raymond Hallady made a posthumous donation of $25,000 to Medina Creative Housing that was set up in an endowment fund.  This came as a surprise to Medina Creative Housing who had never known Mr. Hallady to be a supporter of their organization.  Mr. Hallady, who had a son with disabilities and had always lived at home, understood the struggles that individuals with disabilities have to overcome.  Mr. Hallady also knew that his generous donation would give other people with disabilities the opportunity of living more independent and productive lives. 

Over the years this one donation has changed the lives of many of the individuals with disabilities that Medina Creative Housing serves.  The money continues to grow and support varied programs and projects.  One of these programs is the Life Steps Summer Camp.  This allows campers to work on developing life skills as well as going on exciting and educational day trips to various locations around Northeast Ohio.  Additionally, this money was used in the Medina Creative Produce Hydroponic Greenhouse project.  The greenhouse provides employment, development of real life skills, occupation of time in a meaningful way and sense of accomplishment.
