Raising the Roof

Through your generous support of "Raising the Roof", you and/or your organization are helping individuals with disabilities achieve their dreams and reach their potential.  For individuals with disabilities, success is measured in incremental steps leading to independent living and employment. Medina Creative Housing relies heavily on the proceeds from this event to fund our operations, programs and fulfill our mission.

"Lake Erie Island Bash" is the Lake Erie Island themed "Raising the Roof" event for 2012.  This year's event will feature food and fare from the Erie Islands, silent and live auction items and music from the Erie Island Legend Pat Dailey (censored).  On April 21, join us at Weymouth Country Club and feel the cool Northern breezes of Lake Erie.  Please consider becoming a sponsor, donating an auction item and attending our event.

"No Man is an Island" was the title of Medina Creative Housing's 2011 Raising the Roof event.  Our residents are not alone on their island thanks to all of you who support Medina Creative Housing's annual fundraising event.  This year's tropical themed event took all of our guests on an island journey.  The night included delicious food from the all over the Caribbean, steel drum music from Island Jeff and a beautiful tropical atmosphere.  Guests were entertained by the nights main attraction "The Amazing Jeff-O", a blind magician, whose blend of illusion and humor entertained and inspired.  No Man is an Island was our most successful Raising the Roof yet thanks to all of our sponsors, donors of auction items, attendees and volunteers.

Thanks to our 2011 Sponsors!

2nd Annual Independence Walk

Our 2nd Annual Independence Walk was a huge success.  This year we had almost 200 people come out for the event and raised over $2,200 that will help buy appliances for the new Medina Creative Living III apartment units.  A fun time was had by all that came out and enjoyed the cook out, games and live music.  The night ended with a fantastic fireworks display put on by the City of Medina.  We would like to thank all of the event volunteers who made this night possible.
