Medina Creative Therapy Ranch Wins Big!

State winners: Special Olympics Medina County and Medina Creative Therapy Ranch took a team of nine athletes to the State of Ohio Special Olympics Equestrian Competition in Cincinnati recently.

The athletes were Fiona Moore, Rachel Colahan, Tashia Freeman, Tony Romito, Ashley Betz, Betsy Listinski, Evan Janda, Julia Cooney and Lauren Bonus. They showed horses Twister, Willow, and Spirit from Medina Creative Therapy Ranch.

All of the athletes are riders at Medina Creative Therapy Ranch. They competed in Western and English equitation, barrel racing, show jumping, trail riding, showmanship, and dressage. This great team came home with two gold medals, one silver medal, and six bronze medals.
